Square Enix recently provided details about its upcoming video game – Dues EX : Mankind Divided , set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PCs. But that’s not all.
The publisher has also revealed a new gaming app , based on the upcoming game. Called Deus Ex GO, the app is said to launch this summer, most probably around the August timeframe of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s launch.
The game, as seen in the short YouTube video posted by the publisher, has a simple design like Square Enix’s other ‘GO’ series gaming apps like Hitman and Lara Croft . Players can move the main character, Adam Jensen, one step at a time. Jensen has to eliminate the enemies in his path and can pick up items to receive special powers as well .
It makes sense that the publisher would want a mobile title out there first to warm-up audiences. Square Enix Montréal and Mankind Divided developer Eidos stand to mutually benefit from one another under that schedule.
It’ll release on iOS and Android later in the summer. No price has been mentioned yet .
